Basically if I told you to produce some Creme Brulee , I m sure a lot of you would reply back with How do you do that? or Whats the recipe? But that s nearly the same as whenever we tell students to Study for any exam or Take notes in class or Review the assignment and handle it for homework . It s unfortunate we don t offer our children the skills students need to flourish in school. We assume they all know how to study, like it s an all natural born instinct that s drilled into every human from beginning. Probably because most of us have used the relevant skills important for way too long, we don t even remember the way we acquired them. Some people probably never even learned the way to correctly manage our time or take notes in school, but we regurgitate these words to the children as the ideas themselves have already been imprinted inside our heads.
